Medium amber in color. Honey, ginger, and lemon/lime merengue in the nose. Closed at first, then opens into oak, herb, and reedy flavors. A let down after smelling the aromas. Austere, short, and dry finish. One dimensional--traditional molasses/rum flavors here but little else. Tasted 3/27/2007.
