Rosewood/reddish amber in color. A nose of cedar, brown sugar, spearmint, butterscotch, and raisins. Opens slowly and smoothly into a medium body with a velvety mouthfeel. Leather, a little smoke, dried apples, some spice, and vanilla notes run alongside persistent oak flavors. Long 1-2 minute finish with a wave of smooth heat. A nice, oaky style with some nutty sweetness. Tasted 5/9/2007.
