Medium amber color. Fairly intense aromas of smoke, turpentine, and oranges. Mellow, honeyed sweetness at first on the palate, then smooth oak, some spice, and dried fruit notes. A dose of acidity and warm heat lead to a 20 second or so finish. An accessible, fruity style. Tasted 1/21/2008.
