Macallan 10 Year Fine Oak Scotch Whisky

Amber in color. A nose of light smoke and buttery toast. Restrained and evenly balanced with a light body. Then a dose of snappy acidity layered on honey and ginger notes. Fairly short finish with some medicinal hints. An approachable no-surprises style. Tasted 8/13/2008.
