Glenkinchie 10 Year Scotch Whisky

Straw color. Cereal grains, grassy meadows, and citrus in the nose--light to medium intensity. Steady open into a lighter profile. More grassy notes, then a turn towards spice, ginger, and heather. Fairly short finish. This Lowland malt lives up to its regional characteristics with an approachable, soft grass profile. Tasted 9/15/2008.
