[Vision] To become the world’s first choice in sake and plum wine

[Strategy] To achieve our vision, we at Gekkeikan have outlined three main strategies.

1. OFFER NEW PRODUCTS

“It's not just hot sake anymore”

Through new product development and presentation, we aim to appeal to an increasingly diverse consumer public. Although traditionally known for our flagship product, Gekkeikan Sake, which is often served warm, we are developing new products and serving ideas to showcase the diversity of sake. Utilizing know-how from years of sake brewing, we are also developing new product categories such as plum wine, cooking wine, non-alcoholic beverages and food products.

2. INCREASE DISTRIBUTION

“Making it easier to enjoy Gekkeikan”

In the early days of exporting Gekkeikan Sake, the product was often treated as a specialty item and was available only in a limited number of import shops and restaurants. With increasing awareness and interest in Japanese cuisine and sake, our aim is to enable our customers to more conveniently purchase our products by increasing sales outlets and territory. We also aim to increase the scope of our assortment of products so that we may offer our key, core products while also offering suitable products for specific market needs.

3. CREATE GREATER CONSUMER AWARENESS AND UNDERSTANDING

Today's consumer has an unprecedented variety of choices in the marketplace. Our aim is to make it easy for the customer to understand the quality of our products as well as enjoyable and interesting ways to match their lifestyles and preferences.
